As far as the weather was concerned, Friday was the best day of the weekend and being at a track I knew well, I was hoping for a good weekend.

Knockhill is my home track and I really wanted a good result here, for everyone who has helped me get to this point, for the many fans who came to see and cheer me on and for Jonesy.

Falkirk's Tim Hastings maintained his superb recent form as took his third consecutive 125 GP Championship podium at his home circuit of Knockhill, and in doing so also extended his lead in the Cup competition.

Tim "the Twister" Hastings will be hitting the airwaves on 30 June when he takes part in a Q&A session on Scotland's 96.3 Rock Radio. As well as the interview, there will be a series of adverts for Team Twister running over the days leading up to the Knockhill BSB round.

Team KRP visited Mallory Park for a test session on Wednesday 18/06/08 taking part in an afternoon trackday.

Tim was out on his KRP Honda in the fast group, along with the likes of Scott Smart on his ZX10 Kawasaki and although lap times were hard to come by, circulating with the bigger four stroke bikes, Tim still managed to lap a full two seconds faster than his best time in the 2007 BSB GP125 race, which bodes well for 2008 BSB GP125 "double header" which takes place at the same venue on the 27th, 28th and 29th June.

Tim will also be competing in the ultra competitive CEV (Spanish Championship) round at Albacete, the weekend following the BSB GP125 championship round at Oulton Park, on the 25th, 26th and 27th July.
