Tim Hastings Racing

Age: 15 years (09/10/1992)

Home Town: Bonnybridge, Falkirk

First bike: Polini GP Steel 4.2hp

Ambitions: My goals for 2008 are to finish in the top six in the overall standings in the British GP125 championship and to finish in the top three of the GP125 Academy Cup. Winning races is ultimately what I am striving for.

Likes: Winning races!!! Mountain biking and keeping fit.

Dislikes: Losing races!!!

Started racing: I started racing in March 2002. We were at the Scottish Motorcycle Show and my Dad was looking to get me started in motor cross. We saw the MMB, (MacIntosh Mini Moto), stand and had a chat with the guys there. I attended trials three weeks later and was awarded a sponsored mini-bike for the 2002 season. That was that, I've been racing ever since.

At twelve years old I was a Scottish minimoto champion and at thirteen years of age, I won the Melville Motor Club F125 & East Midlands Racing Association F125 championships. In 2007 I made my debut on a GP125 at the British championship and finished 6th overall in the Dorna Academy Cup.

Race bikes: Honda RS 125

Favourite Rider: Valentino Rossi, - Wins loads of races and always looks to be enjoying himself. Yukio Kagayama, Nice riding style and very brave.

British Rider: Craig Jones, his riding style is great. Scott Smart, Never gives up and always has time for his fans. Leon Haslam - wins a lot!
