Ambitions: My goals for 2010 are to learn how to ride the 600cc superstock properly and qualify for the main race at every round (avoiding the shoot out race) By mid-season I hope to be scoring points and in the final few races I aim to be finishing in the top ten!
Likes: Winning races!!! Mountain biking and keeping fit.
Dislikes: Losing races!!!
Started racing: I started racing in March 2002. We were at the Scottish Motorcycle Show and my Dad was looking to get me started in motor cross. We saw the MMB, (MacIntosh Mini Moto), stand and had a chat with the guys there. I attended trials three weeks later and was awarded a sponsored mini-bike for the 2002 season. That was that, I've been racing ever since.
At twelve years old I was a Scottish minimoto champion and at thirteen years of age, I won the Melville Motor Club F125 & East Midlands Racing Association F125 championships. In 2007 I made my debut on a GP125 at the British championship and finished 6th overall in the Dorna Academy Cup. In 2008 I won the British GP125 ACU Academy Cup championship and finished as runner up in the main British GP125 championship. In 2009 I retained my ACU Academy Cup title, becoming the only rider ever to win the championship twice!
